I am working on a project that can possibly be a movie specifically for television (probably well pitched to Hallmark)
Summary of the story:
A happily married couple has trouble conceiving their first child. After turning to a fertility clinic, they are finally expecting a baby girl. There are no major complications during pregnancy, however the baby is stillborn. The couple faces a loss that will make them stronger as a couple.
This story (or movie) should comfort those who have experienced a loss of a child (through stillbirth, or any other way). It is supposed to send a hopeful message that parents will always love their child (dead or alive).
It is a dedicated piece of work (to a close family member that lost her life way to early and her parents and siblings who had to come to terms with her death) and to everyone who had to live through the loss of a child (stillbirth, miscarriage, or any other form)

First Screenplay-Idea
The story is about Maureen. She is happily married to her husband John. They have two girls together.
The couple is invited to her best friend’s wedding anniversary and on their way home they get into a car accident. Both girls die instantly.
Maureen has been asleep and was about to wake up just split seconds before the crash. She dies, but she get transferred into a “spiritual medium world” so she does not know that she is dead.
Her husband is shocked and sees no more reason to live, so he runs into the forest and tries to commit suicide (with a sharp piece of glass that came apart from the crashed windshield).
Maureen sees everything as a “dream” and has the feeling that she can be saved, so she has to somehow reach her husband and try to make him save her. She fails, but she gets close enough to her husband to make him stay alive.
The story continues almost a year later when Maureen wakes up in an even stranger place, the “spiritual transitional place”.
She sees her girls like a superimpose high above her, they are happy and Maureen just knows that they are in a save place. She also gets to see her husband below her, almost like a movie she is watching.
He blames himself for the accident and has a hard time coping with the pain of his tremendous loss and with his loneliness that he is facing.
Maureen is in the “transitional place” to be able to contact her husband. No one told her, but she just feels it. She does everything she can to comfort John. Together they are able to find a new partner for him and his life is worth living again.
As soon as John’s new partner gets pregnant, Maureen feels herself pulled into the “spiritual world” (heaven).
The story ends with a dream that John has the night before his baby girl is born. He sees his wife Maureen and his two girls waiting for him (in heaven).
